Fully Waterproofed Natick, MA Basement
Challenge
During heavy rain storms this past winter and spring, this Natick, MA customer experienced flooding throughout most of their unfinished basement. They noticed water coming up through the floor, and along the wall where it meets with the floor. Evidence of moisture, staining, and efflorescence along the basement walls proves that seepage and leaks in the basement originated at least from those areas. Although they may not have plans to finish the basement, being able to use that space for storage would be hugely beneficial.
Solution
After meeting with our inspector Michael, they moved forward with the recommendation and installation of a full perimeter WaterGuard drainage system installed along the exterior walls. The WaterGuard system directs ground water to the SuperSump and UltraSump battery back-up system. They also installed a TripleSafe sump pump system, which is equipped with both 1/2 HP and 1/3 HP Zoeller cast iron pumps, as well as a batter-powered back up pump - the UltraSump 4. Now these homeowners have a dry basement, and will be well protected going forward during any future rainstorms!
