Full Waterproofing System Installation in Marion, MA
Challenge
The issue this customer was having in Marion, MA was his unfinished basement having sections of standing water lurking around on the foundation floor. The water would pile up fast whenever there was severe rainfall. Whenever water just stands still in a puddle, it can cause mold and mildew stains to grow or make the wood rot! The wood in your foundation is essential for the structural integrity of the house, and if it begins to rot, expensive damages could occur such as a collapse! Solution
During the assessment, the inspector found that the water was coming in from both the wall and floor of the foundation. So to fix the problem, he had a production team install a TripleSafe sump pump in the lowest spot of the basement. This will pump any water out that will be collected by the WaterGuard interior drainage system they also installed inside the perimeter. The drainage system is perfect for intercepting and channeling the seepage to the pump. Lastly, to fight off the water vapor trying to get through the walls, our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier was installed onto the interior walls to provide a thick, polyethylene barrier! Now moisture won't be an issue as well!
