Basement Water Dilemma Solved in Blandford, MA
Challenge
This customer in Blandford, MA was constantly seeing water seeping into his basement. The water was coming in both from the floor and wall whenever it rained, and obviously, no homeowner wants to see that! Since he didn't own a sump pump, water was just staying stationary on his basement floor, causing water damage to parts of the floor and walls! He needed a way to ensure his basement stays dry during the heavy rains, so our inspector visited the home to begin the solution.
Solution
After carefully assessing the basement, the inspector suggested a SuperSump premier pumping system, an UltraSump backup battery, along with an IceGuard for the discharge line. Both of these products were carefully considered, and the homeowner agreed to the installation after hearing that our pumps can perform during heavy rains and power outages.
The production team swiftly swooped in, jackhammered a hole for the SuperSump, installed the pumps and added the IceGuard to the discharge line. The IceGuard will allow water to escape the pipe still, even if the line is frozen. Once the system was in place and set, the homeowner felt a lot more confident in his basement's health!
