Sealing Homeowner's Wall Crack with FlexiSpan
Challenge
This homeowner was experiencing a persistent water issue in his foundation. There was a wall crack sitting in the corner of the basement that was causing dampness and potential structural damages. Concerned about the possibility of worse things happening, he decided to rely on the expertise of our company!
Solution
Upon the inspection, the inspector said the intrusion point was wide enough to pose a potential threat to the basement. And after the thorough assessment, it was recommended that FlexiSpan wall crack repair system would address the issue. The solution was agreed upon and our service technician got right to work!
He began by cleaning off the wall of any dirt and debris that may cause difficulty for the sealant to stick, then he applied the flexible polyurethane onto the crack and then applied a membrane to entirely seal the repair. By doing this, we are blocking off the main entry point for water and moisture. Now, this basement is at less of a risk for the damages listed before, and this homeowner couldn't be more happy!
