Existing Waterproofing Solution Upgraded in East Bridgewater, MA
Challenge
This home in East Bridgewater, MA had owned a standard sump pump and French drain. While these systems offer basic protection against water, they did not provide enough of a waterproofing solution to give them homeowner a peace of mind. The minor seepage during heavy rainfalls was still a concern, so our appointment center set up an inspection date for one of our licensed inspectors to assess the situation and create a written plan.
Solution
Upon inspection, the inspector proposed a combination of three products. TripleSafe sump pump offers three levels of protection, ensuring the basement stays dry, even during power outages. The WaterGuard drainage system is designed to capture wall and floor seepage, directing the water to the sump pumps. And a TrenchDain which is our grated drainage system that lives in the doorway to prevent surface water build up. Now that there is a whole drainage system, there won't be any water sitting still in the basement, which can cause future issues such as mold growth and structural damages!
Post-installation, the basement was able to withstand heavy rainstorms, staying dry and safe!
