Humidity Problem In Braintree, MA
Challenge
This musty basement in Braintree, MA had two issues that irritated this homeowner: There was water seeping through the floor wall joists and the relative humidity was high. Any basement that has these similar conditions should be waterproofed because it will protect homeowners from floods and structural damages. When we received a call from the homeowner asking for a waterproofing system, our inspector went to the basement to write up the best plan that suited the issue.
Solution
Our production team got the paper work from our inspector to install our WaterGuard interior drainage system that is sub-floor to collect floor and wall seepage, a TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace wall vapor barrier and two IceGuards for the discharge line. Once the water is collected, it will be moved to the TripleSafe to be discharged out the basement. Our IceGuards are meant to provide water another escape route if the freezing temperatures cause everything to freeze. With all these products together, they form the most reliable waterproofing system to fight floods, heavy rainstorms and moisture.
