Wet Basement Issue In Buckland, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Buckland, MA was experiencing some water problems ruining his basement. He had some furniture down there that was getting some water damage and mold onto them, and if he wanted to save the other items, he'd have to get a waterproofing system. On top of that, there was an uneasy smell coming from the basement that he could smell from his kitchen! Solution
In response to his concern, we sent over an inspector to take a complete look at the basement so he could diagnose where everything was coming from. From what the inspector saw, water was creeping in through the walls and various floor cracks. Hence the reason why he was seeing a couple of puddles laying around. Eventually, the inspector wrote out a proposal to install a SuperSump premier pumping system, WaterGuard interior drainage system and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier. After explaining that these products form the best waterproofing system to keep moisture and water out, the homeowner wanted to go through with the process as soon as possible. Once the installation was complete, the homeowner had a peace of mind!
