Humid Crawlspace In Dennis Port, MA
Challenge
A customer from Dennis Port, MA made a call to our appointment center in regards of his humid crawlspace. He has owned this home since 2006 and wanted to keep improving his home. He realized that fixing the humidity issue in his crawlspace would increase the value, but also give him a peace of mind! If this customer didn't address this humidity issue, then mold could begin to grow onto organic material! No homeowner wants to deal with mold since it can cause harm to the structure of the house but also the health of anybody living in the house hold. Remember, a good portion of the air we breathe on the first floor comes from the crawlspace or basement, so it's best to find solutions to combat humidity! After the initial phone call was made, we sent an inspector to draw up the best possible solution for his customer.
Solution
When the inspector arrived, he saw that the insulation was falling apart. Not only that, the air did in fact feel very humid, so the inspector told the homeowner that our SilverGlo wall insulation would be a good replacement for the old debris. In addition, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also included in the proposal that the customer eventually agreed with! When our production crew installed the SilverGlo, the walls were more insulated, while the SaniDry Sedona got rid of all the water vapor ruining the air.
