Wall Cracks Repaired In East Falmouth, MA
Challenge
There was a customer in East Falmouth, MA that not only had a basement wall crack, he had 3 of them! He didn't notice the wall cracks until he cleaned out parts of his basement. All 3 cracks were vertical, coming from the basement window and down to where the floor and wall meet. If the homeowner didn't find these in his basement, then they could've grown bigger, allowing more water to come in. It's pretty much inevitable that the foundation will move, this can cause cracks to happen, so it's good to always be on the lookout in your foundation. Eventually, we sent over a service technician to use our FlexiSpan wall crack repair system.
Solution
The technician measured each of the cracks and saw that they were all about 3/4 inches wide, which means they shouldn't be taken lightly. On each of them, he applied a flexible polyurethane starting from the top and making his way down. Towards the bottom, the technician made a drywell so that the water can be drained effectively. To finish up the job, he applied a foam strip over the first layer of polyurethane, then placed one more layer over the strip for extra protection. This homeowner was very happy about the FlexiSpan because he wasn't know how bad they can get if left untreated.
