Complete Waterproofing System In Halifax, MA
Challenge
This homeowner from Halifax, MA called us about his unfinished basement. He had no waterproofing system at all, causing some water to leak in and create puddles. These puddles of water were bringing in humidity to the basement. Not only that, him not having a sump pump puts his basement at risk of getting flooded. To avoid these very costly damages, we sent over an inspector to try to formulate the best plan for this homeowner.
Solution
The inspector noticed the humidity in the basement as well and saw several puddles of water that could be harmful if left untouched. He proposed a plan to install a WaterGuard interior drainage system on the inside perimeter to capture wall seepage and drain it to the TripleSafe sump pump that we would build to discharge water. These two components work the best together because the WaterGuard collects all the water lurking around while the TripleSafe performs at a high rate since it comes with a primary pump, secondary pump and a backup electrical pump in case of a power outage.
