Leaking Foundation In Barrington, RI
Challenge
This homeowner from Barrington, RI called us about several failures from his sump pump. He had recently endured several heavy rainstorms, and they caused power outages that led to mini floodings in his basement. Whenever there was a power outage, his pipes began leaking big time since they weren't being discharged from the basement. If he left this issue untouched, these mini floods could eventually build up into one big one that can be a very costly damage for this homeowner. So he contacted us for a solution.
Solution
Our inspector came to the source of the problem and examined the basement carefully. He saw that his old sump wasn't even at the lowest spot in the basement, and was clearly not as strong as our TripleSafe sump pump. The inspector proposed that we give him a waterproofing system that can collect the water seeping through and drain it to our TripleSafe. Once the homeowner agreed, a crew jackhammered the inside perimeter wall to place the WaterGuard in to collect wall seepage. Then it gets connected to the TripleSafe, where it will be discharged at a fast rate. The best part about our TripleSafe is that it comes with a primary pump, secondary pump and a backup electrical pump in case of a power outage!
