Leaking Basement Issue In East Providence, RI
Challenge
This homeowner in East Providence, RI lives in an area that receives lots of rain water from the various storms that happen. Due to that, the unfinished basement of this homeowner has been leaking through the wall and floors, leaving standing puddles of water. These puddles of water can cause some issues such as possible mold growth, moisture and humidity. With these problems building up, the homeowner wanted to fix this issue as soon as he could to avoid costly damages. To begin the process, we sent over an inspector to examine the scene.
Solution
The inspector we sent over to see the issue himself saw the puddles of water and smelled a strange odor from the basement. To solve this issue, he had a production crew jackhammer the inside perimeter to place a WaterGuard interior drainage system. This system creates a small gap between the WaterGuard and the basement walls to capture the seepage creeping in. They connected that with our TripleSafe sump pump that was installed at the lowest point in the basement, where the water can be discharged! Now, this homeowner has a fully working waterproofing system for his basement and can live with a peace of mind!
