Leaking Basement Issue In East Sandwich, MA

Challenge

This homeowner in East Sandwich, MA started to notice water seeping through his foundation walls and floor. This was leading to a bunch of puddles of standing water infiltrating his basement. If he didn't do anything about this issue, mold would eventually grow onto the wooden frames, causing structural damage. He knew that there could be costly damages, but luckily, he gave us a call. 

Solution

Once he gave us a call informing us on the matter, we sent one of our licensed inspectors over to examine the issue more closely. He came up with a plan to install a TripleSafe sump pump and to line up the walls with CleanSpace wall vapor barrier. Since this homeowner didn't have a sump pump, our TripleSafe was the best option for him. We installed it at the lowest point in the basement so water could flow naturally down. This gives the basement a way to discharge the collected water. The CleanSpace provides the walls with a polyethylene barrier that keeps moisture and pests out the basement! Now, with a full waterproofing set, this homeowner won't have to worry about his basement during heavy rainstorms.
