Vapor Barrier Installation in Warwick, RI
Challenge
This homeowner reached out to DryZone Basement Systems because she was experiencing wall damage and strange odors coming from their crawlspace. The amount of rainfall she received was causing some moisture to get into the crawlspace. She was worried that eventually, mold would start growing on the building material.
Solution
We were able to install our CleanSpace vapor barrier and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier for the crawlspace. In efforts to minimize moisture build up, we applied CleanSpace along the walls and floor. By doing this, we are applying a liner that will prevent vapor and humidity from entering the crawlspace. By sealing the crawlspace with this strong polyethylene material, the homeowner won't have to worry about her building material being damaged by possible mold.
To compliment the barrier, our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier will capture the moisture from the air, and convert it to a more drier, climate controlled air. A controlled humidity level will make going into the crawlspace less inconvenient.
