Buzzards Bay Basement Waterproofing

Challenge

In this partially finished basement, water was entering the basement through a crack in the concrete foundation and coming up through the ground. The customer was concerned about it damaging the finished section of the basement and causing mold. He met with our System Design Specialist, Dan Gallinger, to determine the best solution possible at a reasonable price.

Solution

Dan and the customer determined the best solution would include a FlexiSpan installed to seal the crack and WaterGuard drainage system to direct ground water to the SuperSump pump system. This solution contains the water so it will not damage the finished area of the basement. Crew foreman Steve daSilva led the installation team. They added TrenchDrain at the bulkhead for the customer as well to drain water from the bulkhead to the WaterGuard.
