SaniDry Dehumidifier Repair in Rutland, MA
Challenge
Here we have a Rutland, MA customer who was on the calendar for an annual maintenance checkup for a SaniDry XP. It is so interesting that while on these annual maintenance checkups we can sometimes identify issues that the customer didn't know was even happening and prevent a bigger issue or emergency from occuring. On this visit we found out that the SaniDry XP was actually frozen!
Solution
We identified that the SaniDry XP was actually frozen and that this has in fact been a recurring find with this customer. So, instead of turning it off and waiting for it to defrost, Mike our Service Specialist used a heat gun to do the defrosting on the spot. This revealed that that cold coil sensor was not on correctly! No wonder if froze!
Mike installed a new cold coil sensor and now the unit is up and running just fine and cycling without any issues.
Often customers don't spend much time checking on their Dehumidifier or Sumps for that matter, so it makes it all the more important for us to do our yearly maintenance so that we can ensure your system works as long as it should and it isn't overworking.
