Acushnet, MA Water Prevention

Challenge

Manny in Acushnet, MA had a utility room that was next to a newly finished room in his basement, which included a water tank and pipes that had an unfortunate possibility of one day leaking. Not wanting to risk water getting in places it shouldn’t be, Manny called us to schedule a free estimate and do some proactive waterproofing to help ease the “what if” stress.

Solution

Brian, one of our inspectors, went out and created a plan that would protect the finished section next to it and pump any water that got in, out. Then our crew made it a reality, they installed a TripleSafe sump pump that had Waterguard and TrenchDrain tied into the liner. The TrenchDrain is a modification of the Waterguard drainage system and has a grated top so it can go places the Waterguard might not and collect water from all angles. Manny was very satisfied with the final results and no longer had to worry about water damaging his basement!
