Osterville, MA Water Solution

Challenge

Once the puddles were spotted in this Osterville, MA basement, the worry set in for the homeowners. Water getting in the basement is never a good sign and can cause a lot of damage and issues, it’s a problem that’s best solved immediately and by a professional. The homeowner, Brigit, gave us a call to help her out for peace of mind and a dry, clean basement she could use and store her belongings in without worrying about them becoming damp and moldy. We had our inspector Rick check it out and write up a promising proposal of what would be the best solution for her basement, one that she trusted and approved of.

Solution

With the install in motion, our foreman Ryan and his crew installed an array of products that would defend this basement from water. First the Waterguard went in the floor along with the TripleSafe sump pump, these will collect water coming in and, through the pump, push it out and away from the house. Then CleanSpace Wall was added and tucked into the Waterguard drainage system so that any moisture seeping in through the walls would stay between the wall and the vapor barrier and then fall into the drain at the bottom. Finally, a SaniDry XP dehumidifier was installed to help with moisture and conveniently directed to drain into the sump so there’s no need to manually empty each day. Bridgit was very pleased with the results and could sleep soundly knowing he basement was safe from water trying to seep in.
