Challenge

This customer contacted us for help with his basement and crawl space. "I recently purchased a home in Natick. Half the basement is a walk-in, the other half is a crawl space. I currently have two sump pumps that were not professionally installed. I would like to replace with a professionally installed Triple Safe Sump pump system with a Waterguard drainage system around the perimeter. I would also like to address the sagging floors in the house with your SmartJack crawl space support system. Finally, I would like to encapsulate the crawl space with a vapor barrier."

Solution

Our crew installed a full perimeter WaterGuard system with a TripleSafe Sump Pump in the basement as Phase One for this project. As a new homeowner, the customer decided to do the work in phases and start with the basement. He had researched many products online and felt Basement Systems' patented products and warranty were the best fit for his property. The entire basement installation was completed in one day.

Project Summary

Water would flood around utilities in the basement before DryZone installed WaterGuard.

WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement with WaterGuard Inspection Ports so DryZone can access the system to check for proper flow and clogs in the future if necessary.

A TripleSafe Sump Pump system replaced an existing pump with no lid that was not professionally installed. The TripleSafe includes an UltraSump Battery Back-up in the event of a power outage.

The IceGuards were installed on the foundation leading the discharge pipe underground to a LawnScape Outlet in the yard.
