Photo Album: Crawlspace Encapsulation & Support Install in Marshfield, MA

This crawlspace in Marshfield, MA was the source of some structural problems for the living space above. These homeowners had noticed the floors on their main living level were sloping. This is typically a result of a weakened or softening support beam or system in the crawlspace or basement beneath - such was the case here. Luckily our inspector Michelle devised a plan and put together a proposal the homeowners were happy to move forward with: our SmartJack support system would be installed beneath a strengthened steel beam to support the floors above, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier would help to eliminate moisture that could have been the cause of these weakened supports. New SilverGlo insulation throughout the space, as well as our CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation system will help to keep this crawlspace free from moisture, dampness, and water intrusion, and a new EverLast access door to help seal the crawlspace up tight will ensure that no unwanted pests find their way in.
