Photo Album: Wall Crack Repair & Added Support in Dorchester, MA

This unfinished Dorchester, MA basement needed a few wall cracks sealed, but it also was showing signs of sagging floor supports and that was a big concern for the homeowners. Our inspector first was tasked with determining whether the cracks in the walls were of structural concern - luckily, they were not! Although a nuisance when water seeped through, it was a huge relief to find out the foundation wasn't going to start separating!The next concern was to address the need of added support to one of the main beams running across the basement. It was determined that this section could benefit from some additional support, so our installation team carefully and safely installed our SmartJack supplemental support system. No more sagging or soft spot here!
