Photo Album: Saving a Sinking Foundation in West Springfield, MA
This homeowner from West Springfield, MA had seen various cracks in the walls, ceiling and floor in his foundation. He began to question the structural integrity of his home and reached out to us to see what the bigger issue was. After our inspector assessed his foundation, he discovered that this foundation was sinking due to the changes in the soil outside this home. To stabilize the foundation in place to ensure there's no more sinking, we installed PushPiers around this home to secure it in place! Now, the sinking has stopped and the foundation is more stable than it's ever been!
Giant Foundation Crack
This foundation crack was a result of settlement due to the conditions of the soil outside of this home.
PushPier Installed!
Each PushPier was installed in a put that reached the bottom of the footing. This is the only way we can install these steel piers in order to have them reach bedrock. This creates a secure base for the foundation.
