Measuring the Lowest Spot
To ensure that our sump pump gets installed properly, our inspector used a laser to determine the lowest spot in the floor. It's crucial to do so since gravity will naturally channel water towards the sump if it's pitched correctly.
The Discharge Line
This discharge line ran across the crawl space. With this installed, water has a path to be pumped from the crawl space to the woods in the back yard.
