A customer in Lakeville, MA was receiving lots of ground water into his basement. He wanted to keep the basement dry for the long run, so he contacted our appointment center for help. In response, we sent an inspector to see what we could do to waterproof this leaking basement. Our production crew installed a TripleSafe sump pump in one of the corners and a WaterGuard interior drainage system inside the whole perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard does a great job at collecting the wall and floor seepage that has been getting in, so this customer won't have to worry about water for a long while! It's important to try to get rid of any puddles in the basement since it can lead to structural damage, mold and rot! This customer can finally live with a peace of mind after we serviced his home!
Drainage System and Sump Pump
Under the fresh concrete, we made a trench to put the WaterGuard in and then added crushed stone for drainage. In the corner you can see our TripleSafe sump pump as it connects to the perimeter drainage system!
TrenchDrain
We installed a TrenchDrain at the bulkhead doorway entrance to assist with draining the water seepage. This doorway had several openings that water was able to pass through, so it's a good idea to provide some kind of drainage system at this area!
Discharge Line
We had a long discharge line go out of the basement to direct the water far away! In addition, we installed two IceGuards so that water can escape the pipes if everything freezes!
