This old Plympton, MA home was having issues with water getting onto the cemented floor from their fieldstone foundation and dirt floor and really wanted to make it stop. After a call to DryZone, our inspector could see the water was seeping in through the foundation and ground and he created a plan to collect that water in our Waterguard system, bring it to a pump and then have that SuperSump push it out of the basement. A SaniDry XP dehumidifier was also recommended and added to help combat the moisture in the space.
Waterguard and Port
You can see the Waterguard drain up against the wall and a port so that we can flush the lines and make sure there is no clogs.
System All Set Up
Here the SuperSump is installed and has the Waterguard tied in so the water will go directly to the sump.
Winter Work
In the winter the ground is too frozen to dig the discharge so we leave it above ground until things thaw out, then we can go back and bury it.
