Waterproofing this home built in the 1930s in Norwood, MA was a necessity these homeowners couldn’t ignore any longer. The old stone foundation makes it easy for water to seep through and end up on the basement floor, causing problems and making this space unusable. With the installation of our Waterguard drainage system, SuperSump sump pump, and UltraSump backup, this basement now had a defense system ready for action. The SuperSump and UltraSump combination is ideal for smaller intakes of water but still features the battery backup that will step in during power outages, when your basement is most vulnerable.

The drainage system is installed and will collect any water that seeps through the stone foundation before it can get to the floor.

Pumps Are In

The SuperSump and UltraSump pumps are installed and piped. The water that gets in the basement will flow to the pump liner and from there will get pumped up and out!

Discharge to a Pop-up

The final touches of the discharge pipe is installed and buried with a pop-up at the end that will "pop up" to release the water the pump pumps out.
