Wet Basement Solution in East Taunton, MA

Challenge

This homeowner in East Taunton, MA unfortunately had about an inch of water enter their basement through the basement door and called us looking for a solution to prevent this from ever happening again. Wet basement solutions are our specialty so we were happy to help and our inspector, Trevor, went out to provide a free estimate. The homeowner wasn't sure if the water was entering the basement due to a crack in the foundation or if it was just because they did not have a sump pump and drainage system in place. After the inspection, Trevor drew up a plan that would cover all the bases to prevent any water from entering the basement going forward.

Solution

On installation day, our foreman Riley and his crew got to work! Since the water entry point was the basement door that leads outside, that's where the product installation was focused. Directly in front of the door the TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed to catch any excess water trying to come in from the door. On both sides of the TrenchDrain, our WaterGuard drainage system was installed in the basement floor and connected to the SuperSump Plus sump pump, these two products work together to carry and pump water out of the basement. Outside of the home, the crew installed our IceGuard discharge line system to make sure that no flooding would occur if the discharge lines were to be clogged or frozen. With our products installed and working together, the homeowner doesn't have to worry about finding water in their basement again.
