Stopping a Foundation from Settling in Cranston, RI

Challenge

This customer from Cranston, RI was having a growing concern over the structural integrity of his home. There were wall cracks in his foundation walls that were leaking in water. With these terrifying symptoms occurring right in front of his eyes, he phoned our office in hopes to find a solution. It's always vital to keep track of foundational issues since the damages can be very costly to repair if it's too late. 

Solution

In response to the distressed phone call, our production team members excavated the soil around the home to prepare our PushPier solution that was planned by our inspector that assessed this home. Once the soil was excavated, the crew installed the steel piers at various locations surrounding this foundation. For each spot, steel piers were driven into the ground using a hydraulic ram. Once the steel piers reached bedrock, we used hydraulic pumps to distribute the weight from the home, to the soil. Once the foundation was stabilized, this customer was thrilled over the immediate impact our PushPiers made. Now, this foundation will stop settling and will stand strong for years to come!
