Waterproofing System In South Grafton, MA
Challenge
A customer in South Grafton, MA needed help with his wet basement. He was having water issues for some time now and had a sump pump already installed, but it was running all the time. He felt that there was something off about this and decided to call our appointment center for help. Having water issues while already owning a sump pump can be an alarming sight since people install sump pumps in order to not have water issues. But since this was the case, we wanted to do an inspection on the system to see if he needed a completely new one.
Solution
After a full inspection, to the homeowners surprise, he was informed that the system he currently owns is completely damaged. There were several mechanical issues with the sump pump and the sump pit itself was too small so it would fill up with water too fast. The inspector wrote a proposal to replace the old sump pump system and install our TripleSafe sump pump, along with a WaterGuard interior drainage system to collect water seepage and move it towards the sump. Lastly, the proposal mentioned applying CleanSpace wall vapor barrier onto the walls to make sure water vapor can't pass through. The customer didn't hesitate to say yes to the proposal, and once the installation was complete, the basement looked brighter, more dry and felt better to be in! This waterproofing system most definitely delivered a peace of mind!
