This customer from Southampton, MA reached out to us because they noticed that overtime, dirt and debris accumulated in the sump pit. This can easily cause a sump pump to work way less efficiently. If the sump pump isn't working at full capacity, it won't be able to keep up with the water coming into the basement, which can lead to a flood. Solution
When the service technician arrived, he carefully took the system apart to do a deep cleaning. He turned off the power to the sump pump, removed the sump pump cover, flushed out the sump pit and removed any remaining debris that could cause issues.
