Leaking Basement In Taunton, MA

Challenge

There was a homeowner in Taunton, MA that needed found our website looking for a waterproofing solution for her basement. Her walls were cobblestone and moisture was getting through it easily, causing some mold to grow onto the wooden building material. She noticed this when she also saw puddles of water all over the floor. Water was coming in from the rim joist, the perimeter and the middle of the floor, so she needed a transformation as soon as possible. 

Solution

We sent over an inspector to take a careful look at her basement. He found that CleanSpace wall vapor barrier would help keep the moisture out, and our WaterGuard interior drainage system would help eliminate the puddles. So a production crew was sent over to apply CleanSpace wall vapor barrier along the walls of the basement to give it a reliable polyethylene protector. Then, the team jackhammered the inside perimeter and placed the WaterGuard system in to capture wall seepage. Now, that there is proper drainage and a vapor barrier, this homeowner can live with a peace of mind knowing there won't be any more puddles or moisture!
