Basement Waterproofing and Finishing in South Yarmouth!

Challenge

For many years since a home was built behind their property, this customer experienced ground water seepage in many locations. The basement was partially finished, and became very damp and musty. After researching many companies, they decided the best route was to waterproof the basement and use a waterproof finishing system when restoring the walls. Our System Design Specialist, Tim Dagen, met with the homeowners to develop a complete solution to their concerns.

Solution

Tim's solution included a full perimeter WaterGuard Drainage System that directed all ground water to a SuperSump pump system. The crew, led by Foreman Steve daSilva, demolished all the moldy walls before installing the WaterGuard system. A SaniDry XP Basement Air System was installed to purify and maintain low humidity in the basement, so mold cannot come back. Everlast Wall Restoration was installed to restore the moldy, damp walls removed by the crew. This wall system is made of completely inorganic materials and installed with chair rail and baseboard trim.
