Basement Waterproofing and Sump Service in Gill, MA

Challenge

Back in 2016 we were called out to a local library that was concerned about the humidity and water entering into its basement. The library is a place especially concerned with humidity because it can damage books. So it is critical that our products maintain a dry basement in this library. 

Solution

We arrived at the library and we installed some waterproofing products as well as a dehumidifier. Our WaterGuard Sub-Flooring Drainage is an incredible product that collects water and redirects it away from entering into the room. The TrenchDrain we installed is a drainage that is on top of the floor that collects any surface water near stairs or entrances. The TripleSafe Sump Pump we installed utilizes a battery backup to ensure that the pump continues to work even if the power goes out. This sump pump also switches between different sized pumps to be able to handle whatever amount of water needs to be discharged. The IceGuard will prevent clogs and freezing issues. Last, we installed CleanSpace to serve as a moisture barrier and vapor barrier- the library can say goodbye to any moisture and odors from entering the basement now! Last, our SaniDry XP is the perfect dehumidifier to keep humidity levels at a good amount and never too high to be an issue. 

Books will now be kept safe in proper conditions and won't absorb any musty odors or moisture. Those working and enjoying the library as a guest will also enjoy the space much more now that the environment is controlled.
